L2 Consulting Services, Inc. Receives STC for Iridium Satellite Communication System on Boeing 757 Aircraft

Springs , Texas– March 6, 2007 -L2 Consulting Services, Inc. (L2) announced that the Federal Aviation Administration has granted the company with a Supplemental Type Certificate (ST10610SC) for the installation of the International Communication Group's (ICG) ICS-120
Iridium Communication System. The STC is applicable to B757-200/200PF/200CB/300 series aircraft.
"It was a pleasure to work with L2 on this project since they provided us with a smooth and timely certification process for the installation of the ICG Iridium Satphone System," said Armin Jabs, ICG's President.
In addition to obtaining the FAA certification, L2 will be providing ten B757 Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) installation kits for the Iridium Communication System.
The ICS-120 is a single channel communication system that was certified for cockpit communications using a telephone dialer adapter. Data communication growth provisions are available for future Aircraft Communication Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) applications.
